Michelle Currin

Michelle graduated from the University of Queensland in 1988 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. In 2009, she completed a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation from Flinders University, South Australia.

About

She brings a wealth of clinical and managerial experience from acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and community rehabilitation. This experience has been gained with Queensland Health, Non-Government Organisations and the private setting.

Her more recent experience has been in the private practice dealing with NDIS applications and assessment and interventions with NDIS participants, Third Party insurance claims. Prior to this she worked in the  Aged Care Sector, overseeing the in-home care services and centre-based respite for community clients.

Neurological rehabilitation is her area of expertise. This includes Brain Injury, Stroke, Motor Neuron Disease and Parkinson’s Disease.
